Till the date, it shakes me from head to toe every time I think of that day, September 11 attacks. Four different attacks on the same day and thousands of lives vanished without the trace. The September 11 attacks were coordinated terrorist attacks for 4 different attacks at the same time by the Islamic terrorist group called al-Qaeda and the leader of this group was Osama Bin Laden.
The two airlines – American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, were crashed into World Trade Center, the North and South tower. third plane, American Airlines Flight 77, was attacked at the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia. The fourth plane – United Airlines Flight 93 struck into a field in Stonycreek Township.
September 11 attacks cost more than 10 billion dollars in infrastructure and property damage. These attacks took more than 3000 lives and 6000 got injured.
The Judgment of 20 Years. Why?
Col W Shane Cohen, a military judge finally finalized the trial date held at Guantánamo Bay, from 11 January 2024 for five men named Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, Walid bin Attash, Ramzi bin al-Shibh, Ammar al-Baluchi, and Mustafa al-Hawsawi who accused to be involved in planning and aiding September 11 attacks at world trade center and pentagon and other two.
Director of the Center of National Security, Karen Greenberg said that the mental condition of the suspects will be the concern because of torture and that may affect the trial.
Ever Ending Pain…
After hearing about the trial, the families of victims seem to have hope to get a good result and want the culprit to sentence to death. Terry Strada (wife victim) – “We’ve been wanting a date for a very long time” and the families have suffered a lot. It an end to that suffer.
It is been 18 years and the decision is still pending on suspects and the decision of giving them the death sentence is one of the good things in a while the families of the victim came to know on September 11 attacks case.
NYC to Memorialize 18th Anniversary
18 years of darkest day and the September 11 attacks took more than 3000 lives taken away from the nation. This Wednesday Memorial and Museum will gonna pay tribute to the lives lost at the World Trade Center, aboard Flight 93 and Pentagon.
Just like the very year in the past, the names of those who lost will be read out on Wednesday. Families and relatives of the victims can cite personal messages, inspiration, and concerns. On social media, people using #Honor911 to show their sympathy to the victims of the September 11 attacks.

These heartbroken events really need to stop or humankind will be in danger sure. September 11 attacks were the biggest tragedy and won’t be forgotten the lives lost on that day.
